Historical volume uses the price recorded at capture. Current availability does not erase previous activity.

Historical windows vary by feed. These scenarios do not measure captured activity in the selected period.

How the model works

For each eligible feed, daily packs ripped = (displayed packs ripped − 1) × 86,400 ÷ the oldest-to-newest midpoint span in seconds. The result is multiplied by its recorded pack price.

Feeds with invalid spans, unavailable feeds, and feeds whose newest pull is over 24 hours old are excluded. Seven-day and 30-day scenarios multiply daily pace by 7 and 30.

FAQ

Sustained activity helps show the scale and consistency of the Power Packs business.

Power Packs purchase terms
What observed pack volume means

Observed pack volume is the number of newly observed packs ripped multiplied by the listed price recorded with each observation. It is a measure of listed-price activity. Wallet-funded purchases and promotional activity mean it cannot establish GameStop revenue, profit, or new cash.

How observations become countable

The collector compares recent activity feeds across captures and applies its inferred matching rules. Only completed, verified run differences contribute. Repeated snapshots, the initial historical baseline, and ambiguous matches are excluded. Corrections replace the affected run, category, and tier contribution.

Time, coverage, and missing pulls

Exact transaction timestamps are unavailable. Activity is bucketed by the first capture that observes it. All periods use America/New_York calendar boundaries, with weeks starting Monday. Current and incomplete periods are labeled partial.

“Missing data” marks intervals with incomplete collection. A missing capture is not evidence of zero activity. A feed’s recent-activity window may also run out between captures, so observed totals may undercount actual activity.

How this dashboard stays current

Data updated every 15 minutes. Completed, verified collection runs publish a complete dashboard snapshot after totals reconcile. Displayed amounts stay fixed between updates.

If collection is delayed or an update fails, the last verified data remains visible with its original capture timestamp.

Aggregation and comparisons

Recent chart data uses hourly intervals for 48 hours, daily intervals for 90 days, and monthly intervals for older activity. Cumulative totals and source archives are retained. Growth comparisons require comparable collection coverage and elapsed duration; otherwise no percentage is shown.
