Little Firsts Support

A little help for your family’s story.

Email hello@lavs.info. Include your phone model, operating-system version, app version and what happened. Please avoid sending child names, dates or backup files unless necessary.

Getting started

Tap Get started, add a nickname and birth date, and explore For You or Checklist. Mark a card when you notice it; open it to add an optional date or note. Memories keeps the moments you record. Add another child through the child picker.

Backup and a new phone

In Settings, choose Save a backup file and verify it was saved to your chosen destination. On the other phone, choose Restore from a file. Preview the backup before replacing current records. Restoring turns reminders off and first saves a local recovery copy. Do not uninstall your old app until you have verified your new copy.

Recovering after a restore

Settings → Open local recovery copy previews the records saved before the most recent replacement. Restoring it replaces current records. This is a local recovery option, not a server backup.

Reminders

Enable Weekly reminder in Settings, choose one or more days and a local time, then Save preferences. Allow notifications when asked. If reminders are blocked, use Device notification settings.

Remove data

Delete one child through Manage children, or use Erase all family data in Settings. Delete exported copies separately wherever you saved them.

Developmental questions

An unchecked idea is not a delay. Optional firsts are not deadlines. This is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. If your child is missing a developmental milestone for their age, has lost a skill, or you have concerns, talk with their healthcare professional and ask about developmental screening. Support cannot provide medical advice.
